Melissa Becker is a pro mountainboarder in Colorado.

Jamie Flynt is active in the world of women’s football - both as a player and marketing executive for the TN Valley Tigers  (aka Saucy)

Ann GaffiganAnn Gaffigan is a computer programmer/web systems developer with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska in May 2004. Gaffigan incorporated as Gazelle, Inc. in April 2006. Her clients include the Nebraska School Activities Association and the Iowa High School Athletic Association. She has competed professionally in the steeplechase since winning the 3000m steeplechase at the 2004 USA Championships, setting a then-American Record of 9:39.35. She last competed in the 2008 Olympic Trials, finishing 10th.

Chantelle Heroux is a professional skier who has competed at the X Games.

Megan Hueter is a former collegiate basketball player who currently runs the BecauseIPlayedSports blog. Though she went professional in something other than sports, she will never let go of her passion and love for women’s athletics. Megan shares in a voice that brings attention to some of the most superb athletes on the planet, so they can inspire others to follow in their footsteps.

Valerie Keyser is a BMX racer in Naples Florida

Keri MikulskiKeri Mikulski is the author of The National Writing for Children’s 2008 YA Summer Pick, Screwball. Before the writing bug bit her, Keri worked as a registered nurse, personal trainer, fitness specialist, teacher, and lifeguard. She’s the Chick Lit Pick columnist for South Jersey Mom magazine, contributes to Fastpitch Forever magazine, and writes for the fitness website, Live Strong. Her over thirty magazine articles have appeared in Golfer Girl, Softball Youth, Current Health, and many other publications. An athlete all her life, Keri coaches high school softball and runs competitively. She resides at the Jersey shore with her husband and daughter.

Alex Morency is a high school soccer player who plays on Harvard-Westlake’s varsity team as well as Westside Breakers GU-17 Gold. (aka amo)

Christina & Kim Russell The Russell sisters are both professional kayakers who live in the Pacific Northwest.

Becki Wheeler is an avid harescramblin’, supercrossin’ PRETTY TOUGH quad racer from a small town in upstate New York. Nearly every weekend you can find her on some kind of track, spinnin’ the wheels and roosting the mud off her Honda 400ex. During the week, she spends her time working as a Property Manager of an apartment complex. She has been extremely blessed by God, having a wonderfully amazing husband, Nick (who also races quads), and an adorable puppy, Riley Jane. Becki truly lives each day to its fullest and lives by the quote, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams” (Eleanor Roosevelt).
