College World Series Wrap Up: Arizona State Wins
June 4, 2008 - The Sun Devils shut out the Aggies, 11 - 0, to win their first NCAA Softball National Title.
Arizona State pitcher, Kristen Burkhart, who was named Most Outstanding Player of the series, tossed a four hitter with thirteen strikeouts and Kaitlin Cochran blasted a three-run homerun in the fifth inning. Congratulations, Arizona State, very impressive!
