First Female Final Four on Survivor

Survivor Micronesia: Fans vs. FavoritesMay 9, 2008 - This season’s Survivor, Micronesia Fans vs. Favorites, has featured more twists, blindsides, deceptions and broken promises than any Survivor in recent memory.  With the most record breaking moments of any Survivor, there is yet another record: a first final four of all women.

Erik Reichenbach, who had the dubious title of Survivor Micronesia’s last man standing, was voted off the island on last night’s episode by the four surviving women. Afterwards, he was given the label by one of them as “the dumbest survivor ever” in the history of the popular CBS reality show.

The 22-year-old Eastern Michigan University student fell for the wiles of the women contestants and was fooled into giving up the immunity that would have guaranteed him a spot in the final four on Sunday’s finale.

In a move suggested by Cirie and staged by Natalie, Amanda, Parvati and Cirie, the women convinced Erik to give up his immunity necklace, before unceremoniously ousting the unsuspecting young ice cream scooper from the game.

After last night’s Tribal Council Cirie said “my mother is always telling me, you may not be able to beat them [the men] with these little guys (pointing to her muscles) but you can always beat them with this (pointing to her brain).”

You have to respect the genius of the ladies, who have played the men like a fiddle this season. You go girls!

It’s never been done before and we’re sure the most unpredictable season will continue its run for its finale come Sunday evening. Who will survive? Natalie, Cirie, Amanda, or Parvati?

Editors Note: Congratulations Parvati!!
