Dec. 21, 2007 - A British toddler is being hailed as a future world tennis champion - despite being just four years old.The youngster is taking the tennis world by storm, beating players twice her age, even though she only took up the sport three months ago.
Mika Stojanovic is showing so much talent that in the new year she will fly out to a prestigious training school in Florida.
There she will have one to one training with legendary coach Oscar Wegner - who has helped produce stars including former world number one Gustavo Kuerten and women’s world champions Venus and Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova - who will set out a five year plan for the British tennis prodigy.
It is hoped this will help the toddler fulfil her potential of winning future grand slam tournaments and become a world champion.
Mika began hitting a ball over a net in her local park in East Ham in East London, but showed such promise that her parents took her to the Modern Tennis Coaching Academy (MTCA) in nearby Gidea Park, Essex.
