Major trials and pre-Olympic dates to watch
The Countdown continues. In preparation for the Olympic games this summer, a number of major trials are taking place. Here’s a preliminary schedule:
June 4-7 - Women’s gymnastics nationals, Boston
June 9-13 - Rowing team trials, Mercer Lake, N.J.
June 13-15 - Wrestling trials (freestyle and Greco-Roman), Las Vegas
June 13-14 - Judo trials, Las Vegas
June 18-22 - Diving trials, Indianapolis
June 19-21 - Gymnastics trials, Philadelphia
June 27-July 6 - Track and field trials, Eugene, Ore.
June 28-29 - Equestrian trials, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.
June 29-July 6 - Swimming trials, Omaha, Neb.
