Tara Llanes, Kim Hayashi Added to BMX Supercross Roster
August 8 2007 - USA Cycling announced the complete team that will represent the United States at the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup event in Beijing, August 20-21. The event is set to serve as the official test event for the 2008 Olympic Games. Last week, Kim Hayashi (Chandler, Ariz.), Krystal Hime (San Antonio, Texas), Jill Kintner (Seattle, Wash.) and Amanda Geving (Largo, Fla.) received nominations to the national team as funded athletes.
They will be joined by 10 additional men and two women who will also get the opportunity to preview the Olympic BMX course in competition alongside the world�s top BMX athletes. Additions to the elite women’s team include Arielle Martin (Clarksville, Tenn.) and Tara Llanes (Los Alamitos, Calif.).
